Be happy with life as best you can make it–

Be contented, but not fatalistic;

Look to the future, but build in the present;
前瞻却要立足现今；
Be proud; but not conceited;
自豪切勿骄傲狂妄；
Be industrious, but not without human purposes;
勤劳戒忘人生目的；
Be presentable, but not with vanity;
出众防止浮夸虚荣；
Be generous, but not wasteful;
慷慨避免铺张浪费；
Be of good humor, but not as a fool;
幽默不失矜持高雅；
Be critical, but only constructively;
批评仅为逆耳忠言；
Be just; but not a judge;
公义切忌断然审判；
Be strong, but not with domination;
强壮防止盛气凌人；
Be thankful for all things good;
凡是良善感恩戴德；
Be forgiving, but not indifferent;
宽容免除麻木不仁；
Have honor, but not without truth;
尊贵小心无视真理；
Have desire, but not without hope;
情欲忌讳纸醉金迷；
Have hope; but not without faith;
盼望必以信仰为本；
Have faith, but not without constancy;
信仰贵在持之以恒；
Above all have love, but not without reason;
超越一切乃理性之爱；
And wisdom, but not without God!
而智慧最终来自于神！
