夜度新年无人伴，拂窗望月照庭前。暗祝众友新年乐，暖炉既灭不觉寒。
Alone I spent the New Year’s Eve
Watching moon light through the window
I wished my friends a Happy New Year

After a cold late autumn rain
Clouds are rosy in the setting sun
Pretty is its lipstick stain
It fades though with time’s run

虾蟹居海底， 未知世喜忧。 逍遥多欢乐， 有谁与同愁？
Deep at the bottom of the sea
Crabs and shrimps reside
The world’s sadness and pleasures
They simply brush aside

群儒听课遭烟熏， 别人视我为蚊虫。 如此学校读书难， 万务小心过一冬。
In the smoke filled classroom
Students are but bugs
Such a school, what a mess
Will make the winter hard

才闻先生余音闭，忽见红光腾紫烟。疑是神仙架云至，却是顽童执火还。
众人抬首正疑惑，先生转背忽不见。请看教学楼门外，捂鼻揉目实难堪。

王捷喊头疼，大叫开门户。小猪身上冷，关窗是必务。
正在僵持中，忽然往外冲，原来驱蚊烟，已至鼻孔中。

北风愿做室中客，窗纸飘飘似妖魔。长此以往九重寒，暖春何日到我桌？

亲临教室马主任，目睹残景笑吟吟。实不愧为老来少，敢认严冬为新春。

冬游记
1974年10月27日至11月27日，我班若干人一行，在徐春启老师带领下，到沙石峪，西铺进行了一次社会调查。这里的诗歌都是那些日子里写的。

送者总有意，行客终无情。一言谢君去，消息莫闻听。
此行三百里，毕竟短路程。来日方长久，切防智囊空。

寄语同班留校人，解怀略表征人意。“工”“农”同样可进步，殊途同归莫心急。
诸君既已有鸿愿，安能畏于群荆棘。道是人言不足恤，想必还记临川语？

朝霞满天时，东征沙石峪。放歌长城岭，笑谱放歌集。
秋高艳阳天，东来西游记。群英看今朝，征途千万里。

日暖身边常绿柳，却向何处觅春花？托意飞鸿四海内，谁知几时穷天涯！

点点小松绿，荒岭欲何为？冬迎数九雪，夏沐三伏晖。
何惧千难炼， 不求万言美。 春发枝叶浓， 愿染江山翠。
Small green spots are t hose baby pine trees
What can they do in the barren hills
In winter the snow of coldest days they greet
n summer they will bake in the scorching sun
They fear not however the tortures of elements

五凤拔地向苍穹， 只恨荒岭少青松。 何日满山皆青翠， 远方归客不辨容。
How lofty is the Five-Phoenix Mountain!
Yet it is miserably barren
When can I see it covered with vegetation
Beyond an absentee’s recognition
河北遵化大老峪有高山。村民说叫做五凤山。现查无纪录。
7 候鸟 1974， 11， 5 梦吟
村童离床早， 檐下闻啼鸟。 喳喳双飞去， 何栖未知晓。 童守荆门望， 候鸟归来巢。 日落碧空静， 孤星照路遥。
The village lad gets up early in the morn
He hears birds singing under the eaves
Twittering, they both fly away
To where nobody can tell
The lad waits at the fence gate
Looking forward to their return
The sun is down, the blue sky clean
A lone star shines on a long road
8 顿悟 1974， 11， 6
All friends are in a dream
They never last forever
Star falls and candle dies
Spring flows away with river
None steps into a stream twice
All is on a course of change
In vain is orchid flower so nice
When withered, it loses the fragrance
9别后
“新友”话别情，凄凄满堂语。别后皆离去，孤影贴黄壁。默对油灯思，寻找新诗句。诗成赠何人？同学不还礼*。
Our new pal came to say goodbye
The dear words filled the room
Then all left for the night’s repose
On the earth wall is a lone shadow
Before the oil lamp I silently meditate
In search for some lines new
To whom can I give my poem?

行者只晓前程远，那管身后万人恸。话别上路无留恋，笑罢出门有好景。穷尽天涯不洒泪，走遍海角莫惜情。石桥头边观饮马，日落时分到建明。
A traveller cares only for his road
The left-behind he treats as unwanted load
He starts the post-farewell journey free
Smiling done, he leaves for nice scenery
He exhausts the world without tear
And never leaves his heart anywhere
At one place he watches a horse drinking
Soon he is world apart marching
11冲炒面1974，11，10
到建明，天寒冷，早起练操手脚疼。饭罢归屋来回踱，忽念开水可解冻。四壶开水打将来，四人炒面笑颜开。又闻别的宿舍里，棉被缠足眼发呆。

身旁有才子，惊闻是女流。有心亦博学，无能堪自忧。

雾掩红旗露一角，队员出工早。路边潺潺流水响，大地出青苗。今早行熟道，未觉路迢迢。转眼登高松枝现，棉田已到了。
步过乱石羊肠路，便闻人声遥。踏上田头举目望，但见人影绰。谁言出工早，社员何时到？紫枝堆堆田地里，只待君来抱。
满耳哗然刈棉声，一闪声速消。手起刀落棉桔断，满地赤黄草。金山沐阳光，银海托黑岛*。风飘落叶知寒意，马嘶催取袄。
*山间浓云被阳光染成银色，逆光望则山呈黑色。
14闻董辉言北京落雪1974，11，18
今闻京城亦飞雪，母念子无寒衣鞋。为客他乡廿三日，忧心一片关山月。
笑才子1974
对酒当歌时必短，漫话人生亦不长。一天二十四小时，默默无言度时光。知识份子精神病，无限空虚方歌唱。唱罢回到人世间，不觉须发已成霜。
Time is short as we sing over wine
So is life that we talk about

春看桃李满天下，皆是园丁一片心。丰年旧友欢聚日，难请辛苦育苗人。

求道须专致，绝望最为贵。效法朝香客，路遥不辞累。欲念是鬼蜮，不禁多是非。留得俗见在，百功一日废。

小兰数笔若沉鱼，觅到幽处可隐居。花残香殒君自赏，不闻观客暗赞语。
Orchid
Diving fish they do look like
These petals of painted orchid
Seeking a place secluded
To live a care-free life
If someday they should decay
The color and smell fade away
They will be happy in their death

百日功名一日废， 仍不回避对世人。 顿悟莫恋虚荣久，敢受天理弃俗心。 岂求同学二载谊? 利剑无情斩旧伦。 世间惟有修道好， 仆将求哲省吾身。
Fame, long forged, is wasted in one day
Yet I still do not shun the world
The awareness that vanity is short-lived
Leads me to forsake a worldly heart
Do I desire the two years’ alumni amistad?
With a sharp sword, I cut the old ties

今日朋友明日敌，莫名其妙何关系！痴情才子多灵感，善心奴仆少戒意。百家无知有疑知，十户有知无知仪。锣鼓声中阴阳脸，莫非又是官场戏？

同游各船知何处？孤舟碧水四人行。晨风不送百鸟语，寂水难闻游客声。有意放歌破喑局，无人赞君泻真情。沉思默想过须臾，便知此非小说中。

第二部分：插队时代
初到延寿营送李振国返京归作1975，4，9
四月春时到延寿，绿林难锁黄沙骤。暮送先生返京城，迷尘漫漫狂风吼。一别难断五年情，时望成才苦心呕。天帝有意止分别，竟作疾风叹离愁。
离愁难断革命志，小将当在风里走。先生为何沥心血？非育娇花畏寒秋。泪洒深闺无为女，不饮古人阳关酒。详思与君离别意，奋力共建我神州。
田间小憩1975，4，13
渠沟底上双蛙鸣，春杨淡映浅流中。微波层层随风舞，沙上栖鱼望新农。
送客1975，10
风急残年终，秋意正浓。送客匆忙归故城。转眼重阳节又到，遥祝他兴。异乡劳谋生，已半年整。何处不逢好先生？难得一本教科书，读红楼梦。
Fast wind sees off a dying year
The sense of fall strong
Hurriedly I see off my guests to my hometown

近是冰花远是烟，匆匆忙忙到人间。万物皆迎远来客，天地又送一旧年。近看异乡降初雪，遥念故城罩春寒。喜若共赏与同吟，叹无同好复聚欢。
Hurriedly they come to the world
A distant haze of icy petals
Welcomed by all the universe
They usher out the old year
The first snow in strangers’ land
Stirs in me the thoughts of home
A friend would fill my heart with joy
Yet none can I find
春别
六九梦春别，似闻杜鹃声。相送憎何辞，雅风具难懂。还需巴人曲，不怨君无情。本是命贱客，终身乐贫清。

万家悲悼哀思稠，每念故亲热泪流。大业未竟身先死，奇勋虽就志难酬。壮阔胸怀过四海，崇高人品感五洲。纵为英魂犹不息，甘化经纬绣环球。

一表人材枉自有，多少名流堕风尘。甘享俗情缠绵意，轻抛奇志壮烈心。常见朋友逢假侣，难得同志遇真人。寺居十月已顿悟，嘲看群芳谢纷纷。

百花谢尽蜂自去，柳翠烟轻一时春。笑在秋寒凋零后，喜迎冬来白发人。
凤河营散记1976，3，6
翩翩远来客，静静凤河水。悠悠长夜歌，杨扬青柳垂。朝晖除懒意，暮霞抚荆扉。有心春长在，田园何不为？不期布衾中，日梦泪人归。念母思爱儿，尤当中秋时。家人俱欢欣，唯少异乡人。严冬北风寒，雪被覆屋前。无心赏白雪，却愁夜难眠。夏来何酷热，烦心有鸣蝉。谁怜少年人，酣睡麦香间。正待归家去，忽闻吏呼喊。张目另天地，只好再鏖战。春日能多久，谈笑有几天？聊吟悲夫曲，忘情且暂欢。田家多荆棘，勇士惧暗箭。何苦生枝节，同根还相煎！余致众以言，意在合家安。一日上青云，振翅飞城关。天晴待红日，心满等月圆。同开凯旋会，话别各分散。

日落黑云间，青山遥可见。车行涌浪里*，头上柳叶残。两岸庄稼熟，草深虫吟寒。碧水胭脂痕，谁染在河湾？青烟罩村舍，犬吠儿童喧。如此桃源地，欣赏何悠闲。

激流歌，题延寿营大闸1976，8，24
闸西静湖水，闸东钱塘潮。翡翠击白玉，狂涛呼九霄。一夜万马踏雪去，朝寻征人行迹杳，百年不回余空桥。
与其慕激烈，莫若赴身随。不恋今生富，道是有轮回。人生一世须留迹，鄙看闲翁待游鱼。白头故里儿女多，老来徒慕他人绩。
大学生，高材女，叹贫境，愁无逸。怨天尤人是蠢驴，岂非少壮不努力？空贪三分财与色，抛却前程千万里。鹰隼无家飞高远，觅食育雏老母鸡。
应趁春未到，早定十年计。奔腾翻卷行天下，一切旧物荡涤。

Inspiration from a River with Dam
West of the dam is the serene lake
East of the dam is the roaring fall
White and green jades clash and clank
Fury waves to the sky angrily call
Horses at night gallop away on the snow
And at sunrise nowhere to be found at all
A bridge, deserted and empty, stand tall
Admirable though the excitement is
Better is to follow the rushing river
Turning away from riches of today
Seeking the spender in the future
Some trace must man leave in this world
Don’t just wait for the fish to bite the bate
Surrounded by kids the white haired man at home
Will envy the achievements others have made
Scholars in college, girls with talent
They cry over their poor discomfort
How stupid for them to blame others
When they do not want to make an effort?
Giving up their great expectation
They indulge in money and flirtation
A nest-less eagle will soar far and high
Her chicks is always an old hen bound by
Before the spring comes one should plan for the year
To go on a journey far you better first ready your gear
悼主席1976，9，11
噩耗重来遍寰中，无有哀泣与悲声。一样中秋明月圆，一样晨曦太阳红。岂疑伟人仍健在，为我引路举明灯？哀乐凄楚徊不绝，始信九州殒巨星。
阴云愁罩旗半垂，大陆沉沉万癞静。秋风呜咽终夜闻，残翠萧然寒水凝。怀念导师和领袖，世界伟人毛泽东。挽联肃立花飞泪。悲痛悼念慰忠灵。
英才虽殁神犹在，继承遗志我工农。人民八亿坚如磐，明灯愈明万手擎。社会主义山河固，党更团结旗更红。改造中国与世界，丰碑永存不朽名。
生活偶记1976，9，23
漫读灯下万卷书，聊补手中千层衣。夜阑神游不辞远，惊钟推窗星半稀。汗洒田间劳如牛，日慕筋舒乐逍遥。归把面粥作美酒，更举窝头话面包。
丙辰闰月代逐客作
常见宣外大街一简易楼上，一女生凭栏眺望，若有所思。人云此人在农村插队，因为“有事”被送回，至今无业。如此教育有何用处？余亦在农村，其苦闷之心可知矣。
艳阳暖残柳，逐客独倚楼。怅目望难天，孤心赏今秋。一夜风生苦。几日雨添愁。此恨谁知音，路人满街走。
狂风在门外怒吼

答俊明学友1977，1，25
苍天早赋献身命，安能喜恬度此生。薄力无缘因众出，诚心有意为国奉。举目渺茫看武场，张口徒然夸英雄。缚翅虽难上九天，也要仰首笑三声。

谁堪为我做莫逆，列罢红颜无知音。青萍绿水偶相逢，便是前生户对门。自古夫妻意难平，齐眉案下多抱恨。所思美人不可见，当学孤云与浮云。

青光烁烁浸苍穹，月冷风寒街巷空。行人孤寂向谁语？遥看银花满天星。
